I know one thing, Im betting a'lot of exotics this race. I think Close Hatches at Is about right, all though I do think she will win. She only raced three times, that's where the other filly's have somewhat of a edge. The ladies are looking good, although Flashy Gray looked off to me I still think if Dreaming Of Julia presses early no one will catch her. She seems to be a different horse when she makes an easy lead, which will be tough in this field It will take a great race by one of these fillies to win that race Ohh this ones gonna be a headache to handicap and bet.
Rose to Gold just won looking really good, so I just dont know who really is the best here. Should be a great race but idk. Oaks is shaping up as a much more interesting race than the Derby. We both watch each year for the set-up to see if there are any speed biases. Afleet Alex and Giacomo were the splitzacta that year: deep movers for that grouping.
I really hope Beholder romps in the SA Oaks. That would make the KY Oaks a hell of a race. Dreaming of Julia looked like a monster last time out. Its gonna take a hell of a race from anyone else to beat her but in my opinion these are very very good fillies and if one of the top 4 wins the race, I think The Preakness is a great possibility Posted by rodrigo.

Weir is highly invested in the Beyer Speed Figure, a number assigned to every race run by a horse that measures how fast the horse ran.
He uses the figure as the backbone of his handicapping. In fact, thanks to his proficiency with speed figures and top-tier handicapping, he landed one of just eight spots on Beyer's figure-making team in , a position he holds to this day. Weir's methodology has produced multiple five-figure days.
