Microsoft outlook turn off beep

I could get rid of irritating sound. Thank you. It would be great if Windows 10 was also described - I can't find this setting Me too Hannah - It was so hard to find by looking for it myself, across many times - until I googled it, just now. It worked, the annoying sound is gone. Annoyance after all these years too - unbelievable. Microsoft does not do things as intuition suggests - always logical and not creatively intuitive.

The good news is Microsoft updates should easily update back to current, as should your anti-virus programs -- Your Word doc, etc, should be fine I think I might go this route and do a fresh install of Office, so you will know for sure your Word is clean from any outlaw changes to settings that have crept in.

One thing i notice is that i started also to receive those small black alerts that keep popping up on my Windows 10 desktop. The alerts also play an annoying beep sound. I have also noticed that small envelope popping up in the right side of the task bar whenever unread email is available for me to start reading.
